In 2020 the world shutdown... By the time Gemma knew how bad it was she was already halfway across the world.
In Peru’d Awakening, Gemma Rose Hewitson takes you on a heart-wrenching solo journey through cancelled flights, border closures, military checkpoints, monkey cuddles, and the kind of silence only the Amazon can offer.
With limited access to the outside world, Gemma finds herself stranded in Peru at the very moment the world shuts down. Between escaping capuchins, dodgy toilets, embassy calls, and lullabies for orphaned spider monkeys, she discovers what it means to be truly lost—and surprisingly found.
This one-woman show is a story of determination, disconnection, and wild connection in the most unexpected places. Funny, chaotic, and deeply personal, Peru’d Awakening is for anyone who ever wanted to explore the unknown.

Lie back and think of...Rheinberger and Wilson.
A musical comedy duo combining razor-sharp songs about modern life and love with brooding accordion, gutsy guitar and sweet harmonies.
Going where other couples fear to tread, you'll hear songs about the challenges of sharing a bed, Shakespearean dick pics, and unhealthy obsessions with Nana Mouskouri and Kenny Rogers.

Artie is a performing artist...or at least she wants to be.
But the journey is tough, fraught with uncertainty, hesitation and self-doubt. Not to mention the never-ending auditions and negative feedback, and the constant echoing of voices telling her, 'you can't do it'.
Those pressures alone would be enough, but the road to 'success' is long, and money is definitely tight. So Artie's desire to pursue a career in the performing arts, has to be balanced with some sort of financial earnings.
But what exciting and enthralling jobs are out there for an aspiring artiste?
'Roadblocks' is a one-woman show, exploring the many barriers that all artists face and the meagre jobs they're forced to undertake to fund their creative passion and ambitions.

Fateh Singh is the Indian community's official ambassador to Eshays. He likes to spend time reading, writing, and working on pronouncing his first name. He has been described as "your favourite rapper's favourite rapper". But he would describe himself as a 'comedian's comedian's comedian'.

Step into a world where sound, rhythm, and storytelling collide. ‘Unbound’ is a dance and music production that brings to life the many shades of the feminine spirit- fierce, faithful, fervent, and divine.
Drawing from the wellspring of ancient yet timeless Indian classical arts, this production fuses the expressive storytelling and intricate footwork of Bharatanatyam dance with the complex and soul-stirring melodies of Carnatic music. The stage will come alive with a vibrant ensemble of Bharathanatyam dancers, a Carnatic vocalist, a Nattuvanar (conductor), a Mridangam percussionist, and a Flautist, creating a rich tapestry of movement and sound.
These contemporary artists who honour tradition whilst reshaping it through their lens, will showcase and reinvigorate ancient tales of Indian mythology. Tales of grace and rage, devotion and defiance, and strength and vulnerability that transcend time. The characters showcased in these stories are not mere myths, they are mirrors reflecting the complexities of the modern woman as much as the divine archetypes of the past.
More than a performance, 'Unbound' is an invocation of the transformative power of the feminine - rising for her people, standing for her dignity, and burning with divine love. An ode to those who refuse to be contained.
Sunday 23rd November – 1pm, Potbelly Inside.
